The Club is made up of four teams

Saturday the 15th of March 2008 Holy Angels School will be having its first "School Chess Tournament" where the top four players will be "captains" of the teams and will be representing Holy Angels School in future School Tournaments.

The Holy Angels Club
takes this opportunity to say "THANK YOU" to Mr. Raul Avila who have generously sponsored the medals/awards and food for the chess players of Holy Angels School.

Additionally , "THANK YOU" must also be expressed to The Citrus Company of Belize Ltd. who have cotributed to each paritcipant of the tournament school equipment and juices , along with a sport cap sipper for each player to drink their favorite "Caribbean Pride Juices", the official drink of the "Holy Angels Chess Club".

Below the chess players discuss and plan their moves as they prepare to take on the Little Harbor School of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Little Harbor School ventured into correspondence chess against the Holy Angels School and their club is made up of four teams also,as such four games are being played and moves are being emailed to each other. The Little Harbor coach Mr. Steve Schulten ensured that the relationship with his school and Belizean based schools like Holy Angels are established and what more than "corespondence chess".
